About the role:
Aurizon’s Hunter Valley Operations are seeking a Communications and Change Specialist with a demonstrated ability to work across the full spectrum of organisational change, from strategy to detailed delivery. In this role you will work across a number of in-flight interdependent projects, identifying and helping to proactively manage the change, with a particular focus on communications, engagement and coaching.
Key requirements of the role include:
- Developing operational and business engagement framework and tools and templates for project teams.
- Develop Regional communications plan.
- Drafting content for operational engagement plans for major projects.
- Uplifting capability of the relevant teams – communication change and stakeholder management.
- Delivering change support across the business.
- Conducting change impact assessments and develop change management plans to support cultural transformation.
- Partnering with Project Managers and Business Operations to develop content for engagement plans.
- Organise and prepare content for all communications including presentations, forums, fact sheets, teams and sharepoint content.
About you:
As an experienced Communications and Change Specialist you are resilient, adaptive, and open-minded. You can work across multiple projects and programs and proactively manage your workload. You are experienced with producing high quality change artefacts that can convey messages in an engaging and concise way.
- Tertiary qualification in change management and communication.
- 5 years + experience in change management and communication.
- High level communication and change management skills.
- Exceptional organisational and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage, collaborate and build effective relationships across the business.
