About the Opportunity
A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our supportive team at Detmold Cartons in a permanent full-time position.
This role will see you collaborating across business units to provide proactive product implementation and maintenance services, including optimal scheduling, to ensure that we deliver on our promise of quality, service, and efficiency to our customers.
Day to day, you will be responsible for:
Production scheduling for all machines, liaising with Sales and Operations teams to ensure both capacity and capability are aligned, and customer lead times can be met.
Accurately entering and maintaining data in relevant systems, including new item set up and/or product alterations in the ERP.
Acting as the first point of contact for all product related queries, maintaining optimal service levels for customer satisfaction.
Preparing job bags, shipper labels and work orders as per production schedule to meet customer approved specifications.
Local purchasing of materials such as corrugated card board.
Coordinating team training, events and employee engagement activities.
Various other administrative duties, as required.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally meet the following:
A safety first mindset with ability to demonstrate safe behaviours in the workplace.
Experience in a similar operational role (including purchasing, scheduling, and/or planning).
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise competing demands.
Excellent attention to detail and a customer focused mindset.
Sound computer skills (experience with systems such as QAD, MFG-Pro ERP highly regarded).
Ability to work with integrity, display initiative and be a reliable team player.
Have a positive attitude with ability to adapt to change and willingness to learn.
