We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join the Monash Centre for Electron Microscopy (MCEM) as the Senior Operations Coordinator. In this role you will be responsible for providing complex coordination and program management services to meet the operational demands of the MCEM leadership team. Working closely with this leadership team you will provide expert advice on the effective administration of systems, processes and committees.
This role will coordinate training workshops and seminars, and assist in the preparation of funding applications. They will develop and maintain a work environment of continuous review and improvement, prepare materials to promote the activities and outcomes at the MCEM along with website maintenance.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:
Managing and coordinating the operation of a complex program of services and business processes
Stakeholder development and management
Contributing to strategic planning and the achievement of goals
Managing and coordinating projects, training workshops and seminars
We are seeking a professional within their field with extensive relevant experience including excellent operational management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills and the ability to identify and recommend solutions to challenging issues.
