Core Function -
? Implementing strategic goals and objectives set forth by
the Board of Directors.
? Providing operational leadership and guidance to
employees.
? Managing native title affairs on behalf of Ipima Ikaya native
title holders.
? Coordinating work programs with Queensland Parks and
Wildlife Services.
? Overseeing administrative functions including
communication, financial management, and record-keeping.
? Developing and implementing corporation policies and
procedures.
? Managing human resource processes to ensure a
productive and inclusive work environment.
Reports To: Ipima Ikaya Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC Board of Directors
Essential ? Minimum 2yrs experience in Registered Native Title and Prescribed Body Corporate operating environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Administration, Community Development, Management or equivalent.
? Demonstrated experience and ability to work and liaise with First Nations people and organizations; and facilitate their involvement in meetings, consultations, and project activities.
-Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Commonwealth, States Lands Acts and know of the responsibilities as a Registered Native Title Body Corporate, Aboriginal Land Trust, and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Body
? Experience overseeing organizational budgets and finances and ensuring that all programs support strategic directions, remain on budget and all financial reporting is acquitted as per program contractual requirements.
? Experience in using MYOB or Xero accounting systems and must Current C Class License.
