We are a trusted supplier to many fine restaurants, hotels and caterers across Australia. In addition we also supply specialty food stores, artisanal delis and have numerous regional stockists. In Victoria we have two retail stores, and a wholesale division. Our Head Office is based in NSW and a company owned retail store is located in Crows Nest.
This Role is Based in South Yarra, next to the Prahran Market.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: ensuring 100% accuracy in goods receival, picking, packing and dispatch. Rostering and care of our valued team, leading and motivating them to enjoy every day, achieve service excellence and enhance productivity.
- Organise the warehouse to optimise space and ensure the daily operations are efficient and safe with an outstanding level of cleanliness.
- Inventory Management maintain and manage current inventory ensuring stock rotation and conducting regular stock takes.
- Key account management and the co-ordination of resources to ensure client expectations are exceeded. Ensure key accounts are regularly contacted and maximize sales.
- Collaborate with our management team and liaise with our retail Division to support all aspects of our food supply adhere to our policies and procedures with particular emphasis on Food Safety and HACCP.
- Supervise and communicate the availability of all stock and ensure price changes are updated in a timely manner and agreed margins are met.
- Cost management including cost of goods sold, packaging, labour, freight, maintenance of works and fleet management
- Training OH&S and Food Safety are also critical components of this role.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 8 years experience in Wholesale Operations Leadership
- Proven success in leading and managing teams
- Understanding and practical application of critical OH&S standards
- Current LF Fork Lift and Victorian Drivers License
- Thorough understanding of HACCP and PEAL compliance
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Tertiary Education in Business Administration / Logistics preferred
- Hospitality / Food supply chain experience preferred
- High Reach Proficiency required to safely access goods stored at heights
