Amazing Shopping Centre Landlord looking for a new Operations Manager at a Gold Coast Shopping Centre.
About the role:We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to manage the overall operations, maintenance, functionality and running of beachfront shopping centre in the Gold Coast.
Duties:
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring the centre meets and exceeds expectations of the owner and tenants through:
- Maintaining the centre functionality and appearance, promoting the centre brand
- Developing, implementing and engaging in activities and initiatives that create a safe centre environment
- Managing contracts from engagement through to completion for cleaning, security, and maintenance, including conductions inspections and ensuring compliance has been met
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders on operational matters
- Overseeing emergency procedures
Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in Operations/Facilities Management, ideally within a shopping centre environment
- Trade qualification (mechanical/electrical) is advantageous, but not essential
- Experience in contractor supervision and management
- Strong experience using various BMS systems
- Adaptability and problem solving skills
- Analytical thinking and process oriented
