For over 30 years, this company have built a reputation, specialising in creating custom built kitchens for customers both residential homes and commercial projects.
They are a small to medium sized team but ever growing and expanding with their continued success.
The Role
- Lead and inspire the team with effective leadership, clear communication, and regular feedback to meet production goals, boost productivity and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Ensure that both individual and team KPI's for quality, safety, productivity and efficiency are sustained.
- Offer support and development for employees.
- Develop and enhance systems & procedures to encourage ongoing improvement within the business.
- Work closely with management and sales team. Oversee a team of over 20 employees, with 4 senior staff reporting directly to you.
- Participate in regular meetings, daily huddles and toolbox talks.
- Ensure smooth running and transition between project stages (check measures, drafting, purchasing, production, installation etc)
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
About You
- Experience in cabinet making or related industry.
- Experience managing teams, including facilitating employee training and development.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and implement new and improved processes.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven track record with hitting KPI's.
- Strong communication skills - ability to liaise with customers, trades and suppliers.
- Ability to multi-task and have a strong focus on organisation and time management.
- Understanding of health and safety standards.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets and tracking progress.
