The Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) is one of the three commissions within the Anglican Church Southern Queensland (ACSQ), working with 21 schools and 19 Education and Care Services across Southeast Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager for our Early Learning Centres.

What would you be doing?
As a Business Operations Manager for Early Learning Centres, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the financial performance, strategic growth, and operational excellence of our centres. An early project will be supporting the establishment of a new centre, so you will need to have demonstrated capability in previously establishing ELCs and supporting all activities associated with this process.
Your ongoing role responsibilities will include:
- Financial Performance and Business Planning: driving growth in financial performance for Early Learning; developing and maintaining business plans and delivering financial and business reports; designing centre-specific metrics to empower directors in decision-making.
- Operational Management: overseeing and coordinating in the delivery of new Early Learning centres; engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure new and redeveloped centres are fit for purpose; leading marketing initiatives; communicating and negotiating with stakeholders to influence effective operations.
- Leadership and People Management: providing business insights and supporting professional development opportunities within the ELCs; supporting business planning activities; managing performance and guiding Centre Directors; achieving individual and team objectives.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional who embodies our core values and mission. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role in Business Operations or management and experience in supporting activities in setting up new learning centres.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the ACSCQA quality framework and early childhood education regulatory requirements.
- Operational Expertise: Proven capability in managing operational processes.
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in completing, analysing, and delivering financial and business reports.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to engage, educate, and support Centre Directors and stakeholders.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills for negotiation and influencing operational objectives.
