The Parish includes the Churches of St Ignatius Church, Toowong, Holy Spirit Church, Auchenflower, Holy Family Church, Indooroopilly; St Thomas Aquinas Church, St Lucia. There is a large property portfolio which includes a rental property, and three presbyteries.
The three parishes remain separate parishes, but formed into one 'Community of Communities' with the arrival of the Jesuits in January 2024.
The 'Community of Communities' invites applications for the part-time position of Operations Manager working 35 hours a week.
The role of the Operations Manager is to:
- Assist the Parish Priest (PP) to be effective in fulfilling his Canonical duties and responsibilities as the Administrator of the assists of the Parish
- To reduce the underpinning workload of the Parish Priest, the 3 Parish Pastoral Councils (PPC) and 3 Parish Finance Committees (PFC)
- To assist all other groups and committees in the Parish
- Project Manage the Sustainability needs for the Parish
- Manage the Parish office employees ensuring ongoing coordination of responsibilities
- Manage the financial responsibilities of the Parish in conjunction with Parish Financial Services and the Archdiocesan Development Fund
- Manage the communication between the Parish and Brisbane Catholic Education (2 primary schools) and Catholic Early Education Care (2 Outside School Hours Care services)
- Manage the property portfolio in line with direction from the PP and 3 PFC
- Maintain and develop effective reporting of performance for all areas of the Parish
