- TQ Fitness is a full service gymnasium that is open to the public that provides a holistic approach to fitness. Our mission is to empower and encourage individuals at every stage of their fitness and health journey.
Along with paid industry professionals and hospitality workers, TAFE Queensland Robina campus students have the opportunity to undertake work experience in live venues, giving them hands-on training and the essential skills necessary to excel in their future careers. This role will help shape their future.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Ensure financial profitability, growth and success of the outlets;
- Work collaboratively with the venue managers to support the day to day operations of the business;
- Work with the Director of Faculty to ensure that the outlets provide ability for seamless student work experience opportunities, providing high quality learning outcomes whilst maintaining commercial viability and an excellent customer experience.
- Model and actively promote an ethical and safe work environment that supports a culture of best practice regarding health, safety, wellness and sustainability.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role;
- Proven experience in managing the operations of hospitality outlets, including budgeting and financial management, analysis of data and business planning;
- A great team player and strong leader who works collaboratively, communicates clearly and builds and maintains productive relationships
- Understanding of and commitment to the embedding of sustainability practices into the operations of a hospitality outlet.
