About the role

This role is critical to workforce planning, optimisation of workloads and developing the relevant teams to deliver compliance and enforcement outcomes that support CAV's journey to achieving regulatory excellence. The Operations Manager will work closely with other senior managers and team leaders to promote an operational understanding required for the Regulatory Services Division's current and future success.
As a member of the Regulatory Services Leadership Team, they will support the operationalisation and implementation of relevant compliance and enforcement activities supporting CAV's strategic priorities. People management, interpersonal skills, negotiation and stakeholder managements are key skills for this role.
About you
To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated senior experience in responding to and/or managing and understanding of regulatory strategies and challenges.
- Demonstrated experience in legislative enforcement activities particularly in relation to consumer protection legislation and policies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading integrated business functions in a regulatory environment.
