Solar Market is one of the largest solar marketing and lead generation businesses in Australia. We operate an on-line marketplace that connects thousands of customers with over 300 solar businesses around Australia who purchase our leads.
The business is based in Perth but runs a remote operations team.
Job Summary
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and administration of the Solar Market business.
Managing a remote team of 5 people, you will be responsible for the following functions:
- Lead Buyer on-boarding
- Account management
- Customer service
- Process design, optimisation and management of the team to deliver those processes
- Lead investigation & completion to maximise the number of leads eligible for sale to the solar companies that use our Lead Management Platform
- Maximising the number of leads sold to the companies who buy our leads, and the revenue generated for those leads
- Team management
- Reporting
The role is able to be performed remotely but the successful application must be based in Perth (or surrounds) in order to attend meetings in person once to twice a week.
The company’s office in Subiaco is available to work from when required.
Occasional travel to the Philippines may be required.
Requirements
- You will be a self-starter who is able to take full responsibility for running the administration functions of the business
- Experience in operations or administration team leadership, preferably in an online or tech company
- Independence – being able to work remotely
- Ability to manage a remote team
- Ability to initiate and problem solve
- Proven track record with client, account management and customer service to a high standard
- Proven track record of managing and improving operational processes and performance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools
