Are you an experienced Operations Manager seeking a rewarding opportunity in a rapidly growing industry? Our client, a leading medical cannabis distributor, is looking for a proactive and dedicated individual to play a pivotal role in leading the planning, setup, and operational launch of their new warehouse facilities in QLD and VIC.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of warehouse setup.
• Developing and implementing efficient warehouse processes and workflow.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for the storage and distribution of cannabis products.
• Leading the recruitment, training, and management of warehouse staff to build a competent and motivated team.
• Driving operational excellence through continuous process optimisation.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following qualifications and skills:

• A tertiary qualification.
• Over 10 years of experience working in operations management or warehouse management in the pharmaceutical or complementary medicine industry.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong organisational skills: Manage time efficiently and coordinate multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills: The ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
