You will be accountable for leading and managing the day-to-day warehouse operations of Central Pharmacy’s warehousing & distribution business to ensure customer service obligations are met. Performance is determined by the delivery in full and on time of pharmaceutical orders to customers in an error free manner.

The Operations Manager positon is a critical senior leadership role responsible for the warehousing and distribution of high-quality Pharmaceuticals to Hospitals and Health Services (HHS) within Queensland. As the most senior leader and manager in the Central Pharmacy Warehouse, the role is responsible for development and execution of business strategy, operational planning, performance reporting, budget accountability and Executive level client engagement.
What we are looking for:
- Expert technical knowledge of contemporary Distribution Centre and warehousing systems, operating models and related space utilisation and materials handling solutions and an excellent understanding of the interrelationships between Distribution Centres and other functions in a complex supply chain system.
- Record of successful achievement in a leadership role in a fast-moving Distribution Centre environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including capability to provide motivational leadership to a Warehouse
- workforce and to develop a commercially focussed workplace culture of continuous improvement, innovation and customer service.
- Very highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, stakeholder engagement and change advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, the capacity to exercise sound judgement and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex problems.
