ACS is a growing provider of Remote Site Camp and catering services to the mining, oil & gas, and construction industries across Australia.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our Remote Site Camp Services.
As the Operations Manager, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality Camp Services to our clients in remote locations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the Remote Site Camp Services operations, including accommodation, catering, housekeeping, and facilities management in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
- Oversee contract compliance, including interpreting requirements, troubleshooting, and effectively resolving any contract departures.
- Manage site requirements within labor and food budgets.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to Site Managers, employees, and contractors, ensuring the achievement of priorities and targets. Evaluate direct reports, provide individual performance feedback, and develop improvement plans in accordance with ACS' Performance Management process.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to meet the specific requirements of Remote Site Camps.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, deliver exceptional service, and build strong relationships while maintaining a commercial focus.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team, equipping them with the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a strong safety culture throughout the operations.
- Implement systems and technology to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve the overall camp experience for clients and residents.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate actions.
- Conduct scheduled site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and address operational issues promptly.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and people management skills, inspiring and developing teams within a remote work environment.
