Operations Manager
100% West Australian owned and operated, Premium Waste Management and Premium Allsands is a leader in waste management, resource recovery, recycling services and provision of high-quality sand and quarry products throughout Western Australia. Our facilities efficiently process construction and demolition waste, with industry leading recovery rates. Our aim is to provide a direct alternative to landfill with a strong focus on what our customers need and how we can achieve the highest rate of recycling in WA.
As the Operations Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations at our Waroona site. The successful candidate will ensure that all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with license conditions. You will also be responsible for coordinating maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise the performance of equipment & machinery. Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive team environment are essential for this role.

- Maintain high standards of OHS
- Supervise, lead and mentor employees
- Plan the site activities to meet volume, capacity & deadlines
- Ensure output meets requirements & quality standards
- Manage staff levels, overtime & team performance
About you:
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of growing team
- Prior leadership experience within an operational environment
- Ability to create achievable targets from your excellent planning skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities
- Substantial mechanical knowledge of equipment & machinery
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, other departments & external stakeholders.
- Experience in operating site based equipment & machinery
- Working knowledge of Waste Industry & Minesite Regulations
