ABOUT THE ROLE
An Import Seafreight Operations role within a small freight forwarder. A hands-on role akin to any smaller office. Handling movements from order to delivery, this role will give the right candidate full autonomy with a dedicated portfolio of accounts. Build relationships and trust with clients in a role encompassing
DUTIES
- Ensure documents from shippers, agents, and local clients are collected
- Registration of import air and sea files into the CW1, send sea cargo and underbonds as required
- Ensure shipment files are passed onto Customs and Transport complete and on time
- Arrange cartage with transport providers, cost and invoice files
- Provide status updates to a portfolio of clients
- 2-3 years minimum experience in a small forwarder environment
- Previous experience with CW1 or forwarding software
- Exposure to working in a small team environment
- Further education within International Logistics or Supply Chain is a bonus
- Strong communication skills (written& verbal)
