The Opportunity 

We are seeking vibrant and supportive candidates to join our Darwin operation who are available for our regular passenger and aircraft movements.

Darwin Supervisor (Full Time) 

Ramp Officers(Part Time / Casual) 

The successful applicant will be responsible for

• Executing aircraft ground handling services including marshalling and baggage handling, with the completion of required documentation
• Check-in for passenger handling and/or agent gate duties
• Monitoring aircraft prior to arrival and updating key stakeholders.
• Providing a high level of customer service at all times, representing both the Westonia Aviation & our clients Brand and Values
• Liaising with authorities to organize and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with daily GSE checks, refueling of GSE and reporting of unserviceability.
• Report any accidents and/or incidents in the correct manner.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
• Additional ad hoc duties as required.

Candidate requirements  

• Must be reliable and passionate about aviation
• Exceptional customer service at all times
• Experience working in a customer focused environment, delivering multiple tasks simultaneously, with excellent time management.
• The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Be available for shift work which includes mornings, evenings and weekends
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 23kg
• Be fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
• Well presented
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions (Ramp Officer)
• Must hold a current WA or other state Driver’s License (Ramp Officer)

Highly desirable:

• Previous airline experience
• Current ASIC
• Current ADA
• Experience in aircraft tow and pushback operations
• Dangerous Goods Certificate
• Radio Operators License
• Ability to work in a team environment and a commitment to on-time performance
