Your new role:
Reporting to the Hire Fleet Manager, this role will lead a team of 16 employees to complete a range of diverse tasks associated with the preparation and return of Ausco Hire Fleet Assets for customers. Daily you will:
- Ensure the team are focused on the safety and wellness of themselves and others within our work environment
- Coordinate the team preparing hire fleet for safe transportation to customer locations in accordance with safety procedures and requirements. This will be via:
- Prepared production schedule
- Production meetings
- Visible leadership amongst the team
- Purchase all stock or customer specific production materials in line with meeting production planning deliverables
- Ensure our fleet meets Ausco Quality Standards and is thoroughly checked and inspected, as per internal quality controls, prior to dispatch
- Coordinates and participates in stocktake of serialised, non-serialised and store items accounting for all company assets
- Ensure all production activities are undertaken efficiently without increasing safety risks or reducing quality standards
- Manage and direct all contractors working on our sites
- Coordinate any engineering requirements for custom works within the fleet
- Coordinate maintenance works to fleet on customer sites
With your natural ability to engage and motivate teams to prioritise and complete tasks in a safe, efficient and quality focused manner you will also demonstrate:
- Strong planning and time management capability, that is adaptable and flexible to meeting competing and at times conflicting deadlines
- Personal drive and commitment to a 'One Team' culture that openly and transparently contributes to positive cross-functional engagement
- Competent computer literacy in MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel etc)
- Knowledge of the modular building, construction or building renovations industry is advantageous
- Forklift (High Risk) Licence preferred but must have current drivers' licence
