About the Role
You will be calling on your previous operations and supervision experience while using the skills and techniques we will teach you to achieve our company objectives. You will be working as part of an enthusiastic team with the objective to meeting set KPI’s. As Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities include the following:
- Control and manage superior service delivery to our clients
- Assist with Branch operations, labour and vehicle resources in order to achieve service objectives
- Manage and lead the operations personnel ensuring adherence to standard procedures
- Plan, manage and review all fleet repairs and visual maintenance
- Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
- Comply with company policy and legislative requirements relation to Work Health and Safety, storage and handling of dangerous goods, quality assurance, environmental protection, traffic laws and Federal and State Government Regulations
- Manage operational costs against budgets and targets as set by the Branch Manager
- Manage and maintain property, plant and site security
About You
- Proven organizational/planning ability
- The ability to liaise with sales, admin and operational personnel
- Computer Literacy
- Outstanding customer service focus
- Supervision and problem solving skills
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
- Previous experience in a logistics environment
- A proven track record of over achievement in planning and scheduling
- Leadership experience
- Industry experience advantageous
