What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal is looking for a passionate and dedicated Operations Supervisor who shares our vision of operational excellence and can ensure we continue to provide our customers confidence and supply chain reliability. This role can be based in either Chullora NSW, Laverton VIC or Archerfield QLD. This is an opportunity for an established supply chain professional to develop their career in a role that is responsible for transport operations, driver management, road compliance plus operational and customer service performance. This is a full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday from 7pm to 5am.  Key areas:

• Promoting a safety-first culture ensuring commitment to safety, chain of responsibility and compliance with licensing protocols
• Provide transport operational oversight, ensuring appropriate operational KPI’s are developed and achieved so that service delivery meets contractual requirements
• Identifying, evaluating and addressing transport risks focused on continuous improvement and innovation
• Effective management and development of direct reports and operational teams
• Partnership approach to customer relationships facilitating organic growth 
• Ensure that the systems and resources available are fully utilised to provide confidence to our customers

Are you the one?

• Excellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build strong relationships
• Experience managing driver workforce rostering, fatigue and CoR requirements
• Ability to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teams
• Understanding of financial drivers, cost control and operational budgeting
• Strong work ethic with a passion for transport/logistics and commitment to continuous improvement
