AddressCaboolture Sports Club Limited are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to the team and management committees of one of our six foundation clubs, Caboolture Sports Football Club.
Reporting to General Manager Football, you will be working in a great facility located in the City of Moreton Bay. This role will provide administrative support to our team and management committees to ensure all key day-to-day aspects of operations are maintained.
This position offers the benefit of flexibility, allowing you to arrange a weekday off to assist with our Football Club's Saturday commitments. There may be occasional Sunday shifts, but we provide advance rostering to support your work life balance.
About the role:
- Responding to enquiries via email, phone or in person.
- Maintaining and organising calendars
- Oversee registration and membership databases
- Maintain up to date contact lists
- Administrative requirements for programs and events
- Website and social media updates
- Assist to coordinate meetings and take minutes
- Administrative financial responsibilities
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers and service providers
- Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance
- Preparation of income sheets, credit card reconciliation and invoicing
- Assist with game day operations during football season
- Assist in the organisation and operation of football carnivals and competitions
About you
While training will be provided, the successful applicant will have administration background that they can pull from. The below gives you an idea of some of the skills you'll need to be successful in the role:
- You’ll have first class organisation skills
- Have the ability to hold an eligible Blue Card
- Strong general administration skills, with particular attention to basic financial reporting experience
- Experience managing websites and social media pages
- Independence – while working within defined policies and procedures, work with self-direction and limited supervision to achieve defined objectives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills supported by interpersonal skills of a high standard
- Demonstrated ability to consistently display customer services principles, practices and attributes
- Demonstrated computer literacy and competence, specifically the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- A genuine passion and understanding for the sport and its operational requirements
- Current drivers’ licence / or access to reliable transport
