Operations/Wh&S Coordinator

Excellent opportunity for Operations Coordinator (some WH&S experience preferred) for Toowoomba NFP. Annual salary between $82,000 and $88,000

An excellent opportunity currently exists with a Toowoomba-based Employer of Choice in the Not-for-Profit sector for a permanent, full-time Operations Coordinator.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Operations Coordinator will provide operational support to ensure the smooth running of the business operations including IT, Workplace Health and Safety, property and fleet management, as well as supervising a team of two (2) Business Support Officers.
Key responsibilities include:

• Providing supervision, guidance, task coordination and mentoring to Business Support Officers
• Chairing the WHS Committee and ensuring agreed actions are completed
• Coordinating emergency management procedures at all sites including fire training, evacuation testing and diagrams, and safety signage
• Coordinating resource purchasing for all sites including stationary and supplies
• Coordinating ICT support and troubleshooting
• Coordinating all facility maintenance, cleaning, compliance and maintenance schedules and registers
• Coordinating vehicle maintenance, cleaning, compliance and maintenance schedules and registers

Applicants for this fantastic opportunity should have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• A Certification/degree in a Business/Legal/Social Services field ie Certificate III in Business or significant relevant experience in a similar field
• Demonstrated experience in general administration and high-level problem solving skills
• An understanding and/or demonstrated experience in Workplace Health and Safety as it applies to an office environment
• Highly developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients
• Hold or be immediately eligible to obtain a Positive Notice for Working with Children and receive a positive notice from Disability Services Queensland

Our client is offering an annual salary based on SCHADS Award Level 4.
