Form of workAmandula Orchards is a large-scale, progressive, privately owned almond operation based in Renmark, located in the Riverland region of South Australia.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Orchard Hand to join our team.
Main Duties/Responsibilities include:
- Daily orchard tasks such as irrigation, spraying, and slashing
- Operation and maintenance of orchard irrigation and fertigation infrastructure including irrigation pumps, motors and associated watering and spraying devices.
- Must be able to work extended hours during harvest and as required by the Orchard Manager.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Farm/Orchard experience
- Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and equipment
- Experience with farm machinery operation and maintenance
- The ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
- Possess sound time management skills
- Self motivated and a team player
- ChemCert Chemical Handling Certificate
- Current driver’s license.
