About the position
Council's People & Culture Department is looking for an Organisation Development Advisor who will be responsible for supporting Frankston's culture & capability ambitions. This role will work collaboratively with the Coordinator Culture & Capability on a variety of key organisational development initiatives and interventions that support and enable a positive and future focused employee experience.
The main responsibilities will include:

  • provide guidance, coaching and advice to Managers, Coordinators, and employees across Frankston City Council to help them grow and build their leadership capability, team engagement and culture,
  • support the design and delivery of internal Organisation Development initiatives, leadership development programs and interventions that focus on embedding the FCC Leadership Capability Framework and FCC Values across the organisation,
  • facilitate in house leadership development, behavioural change and team culture and engagement workshops, and
  • support the design, delivery and implementation of Council's Workforce and Succession Plan to ensure we meet key legislative and organisational requirements.
This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week.
About you
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline: Bachelor of Business - HRM, Organisational Psychology, Learning & Development, Business Management or other related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an organisational development role focused on developing and implementing key OD, culture and capability and change interventions and programs.
  • The ability to provide thought leadership in the area of culture and capability to a diverse range of leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage proactively with key stakeholders on organisational priorities.
  • A passion for transformation and having the opportunity to design and implement new initiatives that support future business needs.

This position is a Band 6 currently remunerated at $95,504.35 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
