Organisational Change Manager

Thriving university seeking Organisational Change Manager for a key project in university-wide program. Your new company
Hays have partnered with a tertiary institution in Brisbane's central-north to appoint an experienced Organisational Change Manager to an initial 6-month contract. On a key program of work within the university, and with a strong chance of extension, this isn't one you'll want to miss!
Your new role
As the Organisational Change Manager, you'll work closely with the Project Manager to deliver change management activities related to an enterprise software management project. No day will look the same, but some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:

Planning, developing, delivering and tracking key change deliverables, including communications, training, change impact assessment, resistance management etc.

Engaging with and managing stakeholders across a diverse organisational context, managing their specific needs and understanding through the delivery phase of this project

Adapting to changing situations and solving problems as they arise, while also self-managing to deadlines

Operating under an Agile/hybrid project methodology

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced Change Manager, with a background in Change or Communications Management within complex enterprise environments. You'll be a team player, with strong and demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills alongside your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You'll be proficient in developing and deploying change artefacts such as change impact assessments, business readiness assessments, communication and risk management plans. Experience working in an Agile/hybrid team will be very highly regarded, as will PROSCI or a similar certification.
What you'll get in return
You'll be offered a 6-month initial contract on a key program of work that is projected to run up until the end of 2027. This university really looks after its contract resources, so the chance of extension is very high. You'll also work closely with an established Project Manager who will help ensure your work can get done, as well as be remunerated at an attractive daily rate between $1000 - $1200 including superannuation (negotiable). There is also hybrid working on offer.
