This large Queensland Government Department is committed to delivering excellence in healthcare services. Currently, underway is an ICT-enabled business change project aimed at transforming their operations to better serve our community. To support this initiative, we are seeking a highly skilled Change Manager to join their team.
Position Overview:
The Change Manager will play a pivotal role in driving and implementing sustainable transformational change within the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Director, Corporate Enterprise Solutions, and collaborating closely with the Project Implementation Manager, the Change Manager will lead change management activities to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business change strategies and lead the implementation of sustainable transformational change to realise the benefits of the ICT-enabled business change project.
- Lead the creation of change management tools, artefacts, and schedules to ensure all change management activities are identified
- Provide expert and strategic change management advice, including assessment, analysis, documentation, and implementation of approved methodologies.
- Manage Business Change Impact Assessments, develop change responses, interventions, and business readiness activities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop change management documentation, materials, and presentations necessary to implement, reinforce, and sustain transformational change.
- Implement methodologies and approaches for stakeholder engagement and communication activities
- Represent the project in high-level communications, negotiations, and interactions with clients and key stakeholders.
Experience
- You will have proven success in workforce management transformational change and leadership within a large, complex organisation.
- Experience in developing, documenting, implementing, and evaluating change management strategies, tools, and artefacts in large-scale complex project environments.
- Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and cross-team collaboration to support effective business change and transition.
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to provide advice, consultation, and collaboration with senior management and diverse stakeholders on complex and strategic issues.
- Capability in change planning, analysis, interventions, resistance management, problem-solving, and management of multiple deliverables within agreed priorities and timeframes.
