We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Organisational Development Training Officer (ICT focus).

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Providing support to the Team Leader: Organisational Development in delivering a variety of projects including but not limited to training in ICT systems, cyber security, risk, procurement, governance, compliance, and other training initiatives
  • Coordinating and providing ICT induction and onboarding training for new employees
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across Council to enable the development of training for employees as new and/or upgraded systems and/or legislation requirements are introduced
  • Assisting system sponsors and/or subject matter experts with development of competency definitions for employees, training materials, online training content, user guides, and other resources
  • Administering and coordinating the online training processes, content and systems
  • Maintaining and providing relevant and accurate data and information for the Team Leader for inclusion in our reports
  • Researching and working on specific projects that have a continuous improvement lens.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in a Learning and Development or Training role or other relevant discipline or related work
  • Experience in developing and delivering IT, online and compliance training to a diverse range of users
  • High level oral and written communication skills and ability to develop easy to understand training materials and user guides
  • Knowledge of web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques

This is a Level 4 position which has a current salary range of $91,772 – 98,518 per annum plus superannuation.
