Orthodontics at Penrith is excited to announce the opening of our state-of-the-art clinic, and we're looking for a talented Receptionist/Assistant to join our team on a full time basis.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will be instrumental in providing outstanding customer service and administrative support.

- Have good time management skills
- Dental Assisting experience highly regarded
- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills
- A team – orientated individual and positive attitude
- Available to work Tuesday - Friday (Fridays from our Bligh Park clinic)
- Great phone manner
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients and their family
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and families
- Scheduling of appointments for patients
- Maintain patient accounts and records
- Assist patients in filling out required medical history forms
- Confirming appointments with patients
- Manage and organise specialist referrals
- Discussing payment options with patients
- Keep track of office supplies and place orders for more supplies when necessary
- Perform basic accounting tasks such as taking patient payments and end of day banking
- Update patient information as required
- Sort and organise incoming and outgoing mail and labwork
- Ensure reception area is maintained and professional in appearance
- Chairside assistance where required
- Sterilisation duties
- General housekeeping
- Adhoc assistance to the Practice Manager and HR
