An opportunity exists in our Theatre Department for a Registered Nurse with strong managerial and leadership qualities to lead and mentor our professional Orthopaedic Team as an Orthopaedic Clinical Coordinator.
The position includes:
- Clinical expert in the area of Orthopaedic surgery specialties
- Coordinating all aspects of the Orthopaedics department
- Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and the Clinical Services Manager to ensure the department is appropriately staffed
- Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons within the theatre complex
You will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting either as a Clinical/Nursing Manager in a similar department or as a senior nurse wanting to step into a management role.
You will be a leader with a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow while bringing a passion for a high level of patient care and service.
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a perioperative setting
- Have a contemporary knowledge of best practice in Orthopaedic surgery
- Be highly accountable and demonstrate a supportive and engaging style
- Be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous management experience an advantage
- Demonstrate leadership and decision making skills.
