Position: Territory Manager or Assistant Territory Manager

Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 per year

Wells Medical WA is a Medical Sales and Distribution business based in Jolimont, Perth. Our core business is representing Corin Australia, a UK based orthopaedic implant and technology supplier, as their Distributor in Western Australia. Corin's best in class OPSInsight dynamic hip simulation technology has changed the way that orthopaedics plans total hip replacement. As a result Corin have rocketed to the second most used total hip replacements in Australia with rapidly growing market share. Additionally we represent DeSoutter Medical, a UK based quality medical power tools manufacturer and supplier. We also act as a sales agent for Wilhelm, a bespoke Sydney based hospital theatre installation services and medical technology provider.
Wells Medical WA runs a comprehensive warehouse for the management of the products that we distribute. We also provide a highly experienced and skilled sales and support service representing our suppliers to the hospitals and surgeons that we work with.
We have the backing of multinational medical companies providing world leading technology. However, as a small business we have the flexibility to respond to opportunities and the demands of our customers. We have the scope to develop an Assistant Territory Manager towards the full responsibility of a Territory Manager, or to welcome someone ready to take on the role of Territory Manager straight away.
Qualifications & experience:
- Bachelor Degree, or similar, is preferred.
- Experience in medical sales 2+ years
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A hunger and passion for learning and new challenges is imperative.
- A "can-do" attitude and passion for team success. Enthusiasm and self-motivation are critical.
- The ability to adapt quickly to different environments and tasks and to calmly manage pressure situations.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Support our current customers and generate new business by:
- Becoming an expert in our portfolio of products
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with surgeons and other customers
- Stimulating and embracing a growth culture
- Promoting our products
- Supporting surgeons in the preparation for, and execution of surgery, using Corin's class leading OPSInsight total hip replacement planning technology
- Mastering your knowledge of Corin's cutting edge Apollo robotic platform for total knee replacements to be launched later this year
- Conducting product workshops
- Developing and reviewing sales plans
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and representatives
- Contributing to team goals and outcomes
