Oshc Director - Linden Park Primary School

The Linden Park OSHC aims to promote a safe, friendly stimulating and positive environment for school-aged children, families and staff. Located in Eastern Adelaide, the Linden Park Out of School Hours Care is licensed for 150 children from Reception to Year 6. 

We believe in providing quality care where educators encourage wellbeing through respectful and reciprocal relationships with all children. As educators we nurture the individuality and diversity of the children in our multicultural community.

Linden Park Primary School has a diverse and inclusive international student population of 960 students from 70 different cultures and 90 staff. Our OSHC currently has 588 active enrolments and 27 employees who are employed on a fulltime, part-time and casual basis. The service is also supported by an OSHC advisory committee, Governing Council, Administration Officer and School Leadership team.

We offer a comprehensive program that operates before and after school. Hours of care are 7:00am to 8:35am and 3:10pm to 6:30pm. Care is also provided during school holidays and on student free days.   

Linden Park OSHC is looking for an enthusiastic and eager Director to work 38 hours per week as a full-time employee. The role will involve working before school care, after school care, pupil free days, vacation care and undertaking administration across the week.

The position - Director Level 3, will commence on 01/07/2024. The duration of the contract will be for one year then reviewed and evaluated with the successful applicant.

Children’s Services Award 2010; Children’s Services Employee Level 6

• Diploma or Degree level qualification as approved by ACECQA
• First Aid qualifications as approved by ACECQA
• Responding to Abuse and Neglect training
• Working with Children Clearance from DHS

• Sound leadership, operational and financial management skills
• Ability to relate well with children, families and staff
• Knowledge of the NQF and MTOP
• Knowledge of the CCMS and Children Services Award
