What You Will Be Doing
Peninsula Health currently has an opportunity for experienced and personable Ward Clerks to join our Outpatient Administration team.
Working in a busy outpatient setting you will be collaborating closely with a committed administration and clinical team, the Ward Clerk will present a professional, welcoming and informative reception to patients and visitors whilst managing their appointments. They will also ensure efficient and effective general clerical support for Outpatients staff respecting confidentiality at all times. Experience in an outpatient or patient reception setting and/or experience in a busy Call Centre in the health sector would be highly regarded.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Demonstrated competency in medical terminology.
• Measures and delivers outcomes in a timely manner.
• Understands, and is able to use, common software applications.
• Ability to manage a multi-line telephone system.
• Effective, clear and courteous communication skills.
• Desirable, experience in iPM, or similar.
