We are looking for an experienced personal assistant to support our two Managing Directors and our Property Management Team for three days a week. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individual looking for a part-time role with purpose. Based out of our newly refurbished city office, your days will be varied and interesting and you will become instrumental in the day-to-day running of this small yet productive business.

Laing + Simmons Commercial is a privately owned boutique property business focusing on commercial Property Management, lease administration and leasing. Our Property Management clients are predominately high net worth families and the properties we manage are mostly in the Sydney metropolitan area with some in regional NSW.
Our lease administration clients are large corporate organisations with multiple leases across Australia and New Zealand.
About The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- assisting the Managing Directors in their day-to-day business activities, including email and diary management, developing spreadsheets, proposals and reports
- providing support to the team in a range of functions associated with commercial Property Management, lease administration and leasing
- attending to any adhoc property related matters as the need arises. This could involve meeting contractors to provide access to a building, arranging keys or swipe cards, delivering documents to solicitors, attending to any urgent requirement at one of our buildings
- in consultation with the Property Managers, arranging maintenance and repairs to properties which are to be carried out expeditiously, economically and to an acceptable standard
- showing a willingness to read and understand leases
- ensuring any administrative functions as directed by management are completed promptly and in an efficient manner
- maintaining the portfolio compliance register
About You
Ideally, you’ll have:
- previous experience working in property as a personal assistant or a property manager
- a keen interest in the industry and staying up to date with industry regulation
- advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A can-do positive attitude and the ability to work proactively and independently with an abundance of initiative
- the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and to make this role your own
- a Real Estate Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain a Certificate of Registration
- a current driver's license
