Parks and Gardens Leading Hand Orbost

The Opportunity 

As the Leading Hand for Orbost, you’ll lead a small team to maintain the Orbost Parks and gardens to the highest possible standard. 

You’ll take on: 

This is a full-time ongoing position based from the Orbost Depot. A Tools of Trade vehicle will be provided to the successful applicant. 

Things You’re Proud Of (Key Selection Criteria) 

• Qualifications and experience in Horticulture. Minimum Certificate III. 
• Qualifications or experience in traffic management regulations. 
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct staff, communicate effectively with team members and the public. 
• Demonstrated ability to work with little or no supervision. 
• To be physically able to perform the duties of the position. 
• Ability to work non-standard hours and at various locations as required. 
• A current, valid Victorian Driver’s licence. 

If successful, you will need to undertake a police check and pre-employment medical assessment.
