RecruitWest has a fantaisitc opportunity with two openings for long term work in a locally based Park and Gardens department.
If you enjoy working in the outdoors, this is the job for you!
The main duites include:
- Weed Management
- Manual/hand removal
- Remnant vegetation brushcutting
- Spraying experience advantageous (must be willing to be clean shaven to achieve an effective fit for face mask/respirator)
- Turf Maintenance
- Ride on mowing (Kubota & Toro)
- Whipper snipping
- Edging
Essential skills, abilities and qualifications:
- Valid Driver's Licence (preferably HR, though C class may be acceptable)
- White Card
- Good level of physical fitness to be able to undertake manual work for full day
- Good safety awareness
Position details:
- 9-Day Fortnight, alternate Friday off
- 8.5 hours per day 6:30am – 3:30pm, 6:30am – 3pm Thursday prior to RDO
Candidates will need to provide a satisfactory Police Clearance OR a Statutory Declaration along with receipt confirming application for a check will be accepted.
Candidates must also be able to pass an Instant Drug and Alcohol Screen.
