RecruitWest is looking for people with an engineering background for the below work scope:
Scope/job duties:
- Carrying out routine surveillances of precast activities (reporting and tracking defects/issues)
- Performing inspections as per the inspection and test plans
- Monitoring construction records
- Reviewing and evaluating documentation
- Supporting processes relating to incident and injury free/managing safe work
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering background/qualification
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound construction technique knowledge (particularly precast)
- Good understanding of QA requirements
- Thorough knowledge of international codes and standards
- Experience working in or around pre-cast projects is desirable
Details:
- Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday work
- Hourly payrate of $45-$65
- Full training in the processes provided
- Length of the project is 7 months (terminating in December)
- Full-time (can be taken in the form of job share for current students)
