Overview: We're looking for an experienced Part TimeAccounts Assistant to join our growing team. To be a successful you should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel or Quick books. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized. Responsibilities:
Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc
Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person
Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc
Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
Providing support to the Accounting Department
Performs other duties as assigned
Preparing financial reports
Requirements:
Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
1-3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
Professional manner and a strong ethical code
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
