We are seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Accountant with demonstrated experience in finance and/or accounting to join our friendly team.

Responsibilities Include:
- All aspects of accounting functions including accounts receivable, account payable, petty cash and banking.
- Maintain and update documentation and financial software
- Auditing
- Payroll
- Assist with Ad hoc task assigned by the Accountant
Skills and Experience
- Minimum Certificate IV in Accounting and proven experience in financial management within a small to medium size business
- Proficiency in Xero accounting package
- Well-developed accounting and analytical skills
- High level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask priorities
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously, where required
- The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience in the Aged Care Industry - Desirable
