Everick Heritage is seeking a Part timeOffice basedAccounts Payable Officer for our Brisbane based support team. 20 hours per week with flexibility.

As our heritage/archaeological work has grown we require an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to support our accounts team to handle the growth in supplier invoices and staff expenses.
Purpose: To assist with handling staff expenses and supplier invoices for payment with the Accounts Payable administrator and the accounts team to ensure all deadlines are met and correctly entered into MYOB.
Accounts Payable
- Checking supplier invoices to ensure they are in line with any quotes;
- Enter financial data in MYOB;
- Work collaboratively with Accounts Payable administrator to ensure all creditor invoices are entered into MYOB and then paid in accordance with the terms of the invoice;
- Supplying in a timely manner, the accounts receivable team with any invoices that are to be on charged to a client:
Quality Management
- Adhere to the Quality Management System requirements.
General Administrative Duties
- Answer incoming telephone calls for the company;
- Work with other administrative staff to share the workload and ensure that the accounts are kept up to date;
- Other general administative duties as required.
Training and Qualifications Required to Fulfil this Role
Essential
- Experience working as an Accounts Payable Officer for at least 4 years
- Demonstrated high level ability to use word processor and spreadsheets
- Advanced experience in MYOB or similiar program
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a team
- Experience as an administrative assistant in a small office/family business.
