Role Highlights: Exciting part-time opportunity for a driven and reliable Accounts Receivable Officer. Work close to home with onsite parking. This role will see you working either 3, 4 or 5 days spreading out your hours accordingly.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Receivable Officer will manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function along with allocations to multiple subsidiaries, payments and credit applications. You will take ownership of the receivables function and built strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role will be fast paced and will suit an energetic, experienced and highly motivated AR Officer. Your engaging phone manner and passion for the job at hand will show through your dedication and persistence in chasing payments and meeting company deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Support the timely processing of Applications for Credit within Company guidelines
- Coordinate reference checks and other reviews within Company Guidelines
- Maintain complete and up-to-date Customer records, including contact details, and other mandatory fields in line with Company Guidelines
- Coordinate the registration and maintenance of PPS records
- Ensure physical and electronic records are stored in a manner that is both secure and retrievable
- Communicate effectively with Customers regarding their accounts
- Escalate overdue accounts as necessary
- Manage Customer accounts on stop credit (hold)
- Process and recording of payments received from Customers, including direct deposit, cheque and credit card payments
- Maintain documentation for reconciliation and audit purposes
- Coordinate the reconciliation of undeposited funds
- Resolve discrepancies with customer deposits and branch banking as necessary

The successful candidate will have proven experience within end to end Receivables working within a fast paced and layered position. You have a natural ability to build relationships, are a problem solver and have a high attention to detail. Competency in NetSuite would be highly regarded (not essential) with intermediate Excel skills essential.
You have exceptional communication and negotiation skills and a passion for Accounts Receivables. The successful candidate will have a "can do" attitude, work well within a fast paced environment and enjoy a vibrant and collaborative team whilst taking complete ownership of the receivables function.
You are seeking work at a part-time capacity and are available for either 3,4,5 days in the office, depending on the spread of your hours.
