With our headquarters and largest depot in Swan Hill, we operate over 200 vehicles across Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia, providing a wide range of passenger services.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Office Administrator, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  1. Data Management:
    • Accurate and efficient data entry for the BusBiz workshops in South Australia
    • Receipt and process invoices with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Assist in maintaining precise stock control and the management of replacement parts and clearing stock.
  2. Workshop Administration:
    • Creating, updating, and finalizing work tickets to ensure a well-organized workflow.
    • Assisting in general workshop administration tasks as instructed by management.
    • Collaborating with the lead mechanics in each workshop, and the Fleet Maintenance Manager to maintain a streamlined operation.
  3. Customer Service:
    • Backing up the Mt Barker Operations team in handling phone enquiries. 
    • Assist the Mt Barker Operations team in providing professional and courteous assistance to customers, including quoting and addressing their needs.
  4. Payroll and Documentation:
    • Provide backup to the Mt Barker Ops Manager with assistance in payroll entry to ensure accurate and timely compensation for personnel.
    • Efficiently distributing necessary paperwork to relevant team members.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining precise records.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications. 
  • Willingness to adapt and follow all reasonable management instructions.
  • Previous experience in a bus fleet workshop environment or administrative role is a plus.
  • A current MR license and SA Driver Accreditation would be desirable. If not held currently we would assist in the gaining of this qualification.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs or seek to learn if features are unknown
