About the Role: Seize the opportunity to join a forward-thinking team in a part-time Administrative Assistant role, focusing on accounting support. An exciting opportunity exists for a detail-oriented and proactive Administration & Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our office and supports various administrative functions across the business.
- Communications Handling: Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately within the organisation.
- Financial Transactions: Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Payroll Assistance: Provide backup support for payroll processing.
- Data Management: Input inventory details and manage databases with high accuracy using Xero and other specialised software.
- Administrative Support: Assist with travel arrangements, support other team members, and perform general office duties.
Core Duties
- Assist Payroll Management: Process payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Assist Account Transaction Oversight: Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
- Precision Data Entry: Utilise Xero for high-volume data entry and financial reporting.
- Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records.
- Detailed Administrative Tasks: Execute detailed-oriented tasks that support broader accounting and administrative functions.
- Software Proficiency: Utilise Microsoft Office Suite for daily tasks and become proficient in Xero (preferred but not required).
- Team Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive and friendly demeanour.
