Our Nationally renowned Healthcare client is seeking a strong administrator / placement Coordinator to join their team in Belmont for a 3 month temp assignment
Working hours: Part time - 3 -4 days per week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 month temp assignment
Pay Rate: $40ph + Super depending on experience.
The Role
As Placement Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating clinical placements, internships, and experiential learning opportunities for aspiring healthcare professionals. You will work closely with students, and external partners to ensure successful placement experiences and foster relationships that benefit both students and organizations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate placement process for students, including sourcing placement opportunities, matching students with suitable placements, and overseeing the placement timeline.
- Maintain the mentorship/observer weekly performance dashboard.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout the placement process, obtaining relevant qualifications and documentation, and roster development.
- Track student progress during placements, conduct evaluations, and gather feedback from students, employers, and faculty to continuously improve placement processes and outcomes.
- Ensure that all legal and safety obligations have been met prior to the start of shift.
- Liaise with all parties including operational, rosters and external organisations.
- Facilitate and support different initiatives for internal and external partners in relation to placements.
- Ensure all policy and procedures are met during the process of placements.
- Additional adhoc administration support throughout the department
Experience Required
- MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience in an administration role
- Rostering / onboarding experience will be beneficial
- Able to establish professional work boundaries Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organization skills and a high attention to detail
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
