Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer

Balance Co. is a young, vibrant and growing company specialising in end to end bookkeeping and payroll services for McDonald's restaurant franchises across Australia.

Due to continued business growth and development, we require a full-time Bookkeeper and Payroll Officer to join our supportive team.

Reporting directly to the Team Manager you will be responsible for providing the below services for your own client base within our business:

- Processing weekly payroll
- Preparing weekly bank reconciliations
- Processing accounts payables
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting
- Various ad-hoc tasks as required

Previous bookkeeping experience will be highly regarded.  To be successful in this position however you must possess the following skills and attributes:

- A degree in Accounting or a Certificate III in Bookkeeping / Payroll, or, past experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office products
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work to strict deadlines 
- Fanatically organised
- Motivated, friendly and enthusiastic
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
