A fantastic opportunity exists for a motivated, detail orientated and highly organised Bookkeeper to join our team and assist with Payroll, Accounts Receivable/Payable and other accounting functions. Work close to home with flexible hours, 3 days a week for 6 hours a day.
Functions
- Payroll –process weekly payroll for 10 employees
- Accounts Payable – Process invoices & credit notes, reconcile supplier statements.
- Accounts Receivable – raise sales invoices & credit notes, distribute customer statements, manage debt collection process and other associated activities.
- Prepare statutory reports for compliance submission (BAS, Payroll Tax, Super, etc)
- Bank Reconciliation – weekly reconciliations.
- Liaise with team and assist with any ad hoc requests AR/AP
To be successful in this role you must have a positive ‘can do’ attitude coupled with the drive and determination to succeed, plus be able to demonstrate.
- A minimum of Two years relevant experience in payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MYOB would be an advantage.
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Work as a team member by sharing responsibilities, providing support and maintaining communication with colleagues on an effective and efficient basis.
