As a Conveyancer with us, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our clients' property transactions are handled with precision, efficiency, and utmost care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the residential and commercial property transactions from start to finish, including but not limited to; sales, purchases and transfers.
- Act as an initial contact for conveyancing/commercial client legal enquiries.
- Assist with initial contract review and negotiations as required.
- Using firm precedents based off Lexon Tools to send initial documents, relevant questionnaires and authorities.
- Manage conditions and critical dates to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Conduct thorough property title searches, property investigations, and due diligence to identify any potential issues or risks.
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant stakeholders involved in the transaction to facilitate a seamless process.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts of sale, leases, transfer documents and settlement statements.
- Attending to stamping and registration requirements.
- Coordinate property settlements, ensuring all necessary documents and funds are in place, and utilising the PEXA platform.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulatory changes in the field of conveyancing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Conveyancer, with a deep understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Ability to work independently on all conveyancing matters from A to Z.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other relevant tools.
