About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary with a passion for engaging with the public and enjoying a varied and fast paced administration role. This is a part-time role and will suit an experienced Medical Secretary.
The successful applicant must be well presented, personable, self-motivated and have a caring, professional manner. Attention to detail with a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Management of patient enquiries
- Diary management
- Audio typing
- Managing patient billing and receipting
- General administrative support
- Meticulous data entry
- Some late nights and Saturdays are expected
Skills and Experience:
- 2 years minimum experience in a similar role
- Ability to prioritise tasks while still providing excellent customer service
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Eclipse, Medicare, DVA, Workcover billing
- Strong work ethic with capacity to work as part of a team and autonomously
Start: We would prefer an immediate start.
