Duties:
- Reconciliation of transactions and bank statements;
- Reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable;
- Setting up new clients for Xero subscription and training;
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS's and IAS's;
- Preparation of Taxable Payments Annual Reports;
- Communicating directly with clients via phone and email;
- Processing payroll and lodgement of annual STP requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a bookkeeper, including processing payroll, preparing activity statements, etc;
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field will be viewed with preference;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Experience using Excel, Xero, MYOB, and Quickbooks an advantage;
- Highly organised and able to multi-task
