Jorian Blanch & Co. Solicitors is an Upper North Shore boutique legal firm looking for an experienced and confident Paralegal/Legal Secretary. The ideal candidate for this position is seeking a part-time role, working four days a week within school hours.
Our firm is based in Turramurra, and is a three minute walk from the train station.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Proficient in PEXA and online probate applications
- Experienced in drafting documents
- Familiar with Clio or similar Practice Management software.
- Adept at embracing and adapting to evolving systems and technology as the firm optimises its operations
- Constantly seeking progressive methods to enhance operational efficiency.
Jorian Blanch & Co. Solicitors was established over 50 years ago by Jorian Blanch. In 2008, the firm combined with F. E. Fischer & Co. of Pymble. The firm largely deals with: Property and Conveyancing Law, Wills and Probate, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship, and Retirement Village Contracts and Aged Care Law.
Some of the duties you may expect to be tasked with are:
- Greeting clients and ensuring a welcoming environment
- Answering incoming calls and handling client enquiries
- Arranging conferences and general diary management
- Email management and responding to enquiries
- Drafting tax invoices and processing payments
- Following up outstanding payments
- Providing administrative support to Solicitors
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents and contracts
- Attending to filing of court documents, applications and extensions online
- Assisting in opening and closing legal files
- Safe custody management
- Attending to other general office duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, archiving, collecting and posting mail.
